Whats this thing called "Uncertainty?"

Uncertainty...defined as "not sure". Today many of us find it difficult to plan for the future. Whether to invest in the stock market, to sell or purchase a home, to buy a new or used car. These are all decisions that Americans are unsure about as to what to do in these trying times.
I guess the doubt comes from political leadership at the local level all the way up to the Congress and the White House. It doesn't matter whether you are a Democrat, Republican or an Independent because uncertainty effects all of us.
Do you remember when you were a small child and mom or dad would come into your room, kiss you goodnight and tuck you into bed? Well, I certainly felt certain that I was safe, that I was loved and that mom and dad would be there for me if anything scarey might happen.
Wouldn't it be nice if that feeling of "I know what to do" would return?
It might make us feel that we could go and do what we really want to do whether to go to the airport without having to worry about scanners irradiating you or not have to be concerned about some crazies flying a hijacked airplane into one of our skyscrappers.
Just my thoughts on the eve of 9/11.
